Acacia Cottages managers Stephen and Michele Maxwell are available 24/7, and ensure each house is run smoothly, kept clean, with assistance provided when needed. Managers provide orientation, information, help, assistance, and friendly service, to help you enjoy your Brisbane experience.

 

Acacia Cottages are located an easy walk from the city, or take the free Spring Hill loop bus which runs every 10 minutes. Walk to school, IES is just across the road. Shops, cafes, supermarkets and medical centres are all close by. Walk to swimming pools, gyms, golf course, Brisbane River. Walk to barbeques at Roma Street Parklands.  Walk to Central Station. Acacia Cottages are close to everything.  

 

The house is nicely furnished with modern fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, lounge, TV & dining.

 

Ample living and outdoor space is provided, overlooking a natural water course and tropical gardens. A quiet atmosphere is encouraged, which allows for relaxed study and enjoyment of the home environment. Close proximity to IES allows students to spend more time on their study, with less time and money spent travelling to and from school. 

 

Managers Stephen and Michele have been working in accommodation services for over twenty years. Both Stephen and Michele are blue card registered. Stephen has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and has successfully managed different businesses. Michele has a Diploma of Education, and previously worked for the Department of Employment, Education and Training. Stephen and Michele built Acacia Cottages, completed in 2009. Stephen and Michele have travelled the world with their family, and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to assist students in many areas.

Acacia Cottages provide managed share house accommodation for international students attending the IES Foundation Program. 

Students enjoy the independence of living away from home in a well managed, friendly, clean and safe environment, with excellent support service provided. Students prepare their own meals, and are responsible for the every day care of their room and house keeping.

At Acacia Cottages, each student has their own secure single bedroom, and shares a bathroom with one other. Some bedrooms have ensuite bathroom.

Three bathrooms are provided in each cottage. Bedrooms are fully furnished with bed, linen, blankets, desk, chair, lamp, built in wardrobes, ceiling fan. High speed cable internet with ample download capacity is provided. Gas, electricity, water and cable internet are all included.
